Pros

Good and friendly Colleagues Yearly bonus and profit sharing In hand salary from CTC perspective is good

Cons

i. Very opaque and biased appraisal process ii.People working from many years have their own policies running. ii. They fear innovative ideas coming up and its not a flat hierarchy. iii. Team lead and managers have created a kind of layer which does not allow things happening in Pune to reach upper management. iv. They still work with old technologies which is not good for long term career.

Pros

The location in Colorado Springs is amazing with views of Pikes Peak. Nice office setting and relaxed dress code. Lots of new people to meet because of turnover.

Cons

Current management and the blaming/finger pointing instead of listening to the people who have been with YES when we were growing. The real problems are process driven and were brought in with the purchase of a failing company. Good managers were pushed out a year ago and replaced with project managers from ista. Yardi/YES purchased ista, a failing company, and we are copying their failed processes. Why this is not obvious to the executive team is amazing and is why we took a turn for the worse. 2016 goals include more "fun" but the underlying problems will not go away until real changes take place and that includes a mangement change.

We are aware that there have been issues in our Colorado Springs office. Any time there is an acquisition some transition time is necessary. As our ista clients migrate to a single platform we expect everything to smooth out. We really appreciate your concern about this and we share it.

Pros

When I started at Yardi, I thought it was an exciting place to work. I soon discovered that it was a sham. I’ve worked at other software companies in the past, so these are observations made by an experienced professional salesperson, not emotional statements made by a “disgruntled former employee." My only pro comment is that Yardi is a company that expects very little from their employees.

Cons

Many people get jobs here because they live in Santa Barbara and can't find a better job, or they are just starting their career; those who stay for any length of time are often complacent, lazy and / or incompetent. If you have pride in your abilities or want to challenge yourself, you don't want to work here. Every department is rife with people who have been there for years and love the status quo ("this is the way it has always been done"). Special note about the H/R department: they are so incompetent that they couldn't be trusted to give correct information about the programs that they manage (like insurance, benefits, payroll, vacations, etc.). Ironically, the H/R department management staff have no people skills. Yardi treats their employees as if they are a wholesale commodity (easily replaced), they pay below market wages, and there is zero leadership. To sales people: RUN AWAY. You will get no sales, product or industry training, you will not be paid market wages and when you leave your commissions will not be paid to you. Management has no problem telling employees how well the company is doing, but when it comes time to get pay increases, there's no money available. You don't want to work for this company. If you look at the number of job openings it isn't because of organic growth, it is because they churn through talent.
