Pros

the paycheck didn't bounce company vehicle worked with ok people

Cons

low pay Neverending shifts management didn't give a crap about you you were expected to be a 30 year vet after one week of training my former boss let me know that working all day and all night is normal here. most of the printer they serviced were old and had been rigged way too many times the software that you load here is individual which means 30 years of patches are all on separate disks no direction at all. the only way to make more money than what you were hired in at was working overtime

Pros

The brand has strength, but that's all.

Cons

After being laid off from Xerox I elected to register for COBRA health insurance. What I discovered is that Xerox pays less than 20% of the insurance cost. Employees are burdened wit the remainder, including high deductibles. Given the fact that the company gives raises and bonuses to less than 2% of its employees and 401k matching contributions were cancelled 2 years ago, it's safe to say Xerox is a no benefit company. Anyone who is considering employment with Xerox should know this and understand how to negotiate a salary. Look at the average salary for the position you're applying for from other companies in the same city. Then add a 50% premium to that value. It's critical that you fully understand the value of benefits you receive from your employer.
