Pros

Some great people that were working there before the current leadership took ever. Plenty of warehouse space and nice shelving.

Cons

The leadership team has no morals or ethics and only looks out for their own paycheck. The micro manage their employees. They don't listen to their employees. They try to sue everyone who leaves after they do unethical things to them.

Pros

I have been working at a customer service call center near Portland for the past 9 months. The location is an easy commute. The work is a guaranteed 40 work week with benefits and overtime is available. The employees and supervisors do what they can to make a pleasant work environment. Training is adequate and there is a lot of support.

Cons

There isn't much hope of a career path here. The shift bidding system could work well if it wasn't corrupted. Being able to schedule earned personal time off weeks in advance has proven problematic. Work-life balance is heavily skewed toward work. An example: Despite numerous conversations and emails with various people and a perfect attendance record, I was unable to secure proper approval for eligible time off and was told I would have to call in as a "no show" for which the attendance system would penalize doubly because it fell on a weekend. Since the shift bids are based on attendance, the next bid will be penalized as well.

Pros

A decent place to get your feet wet in several different fields of work. Good benefits and 401k.

Cons

Management is not trained. Most mid to high tier management is placed by favoritism. No one cares what you have to say. Do not plan to move into a high paying position, it wont happen. The company was on a downward decline from the day I started and still since I left.

Thank you for your review and mentioning the benefits and 401k as pros. MOS is proud to offer great benefits to our employees. However, we are disappointed to hear your opinion on management and mobility. MOS does often hire from within and we put a lot of effort into making sure we have employees in the right place, not only for them but for MOS as a whole. We want to make sure everyone feels like they can be productive and can also get satisfaction from their position. Please give us a call and reach out to Drew to provide some constructive criticism. We would really like to hear the specifics so we can improve. Again thank you for your time.
