Pros

Work-life balance, private insurance, ticket-restaurant cards, easy-to-access facilities.

Cons

- Legacy technology with no interest of developing new products. As a result, some departments spend their time on the maintenance of the product / software and on incoming tickets, which "kills" a developer / engineer. - Politics. Not everyone is treated the same in a team. Sometimes, a group of people solve a problem, but only one of them is awarded with an "accolade reward". - Not really into the latest trends for languages, tools, frameworks etc. Python? Nope. IntelliJ? Nah. C++ 14 /17 ? Not in the foreseable future. - Managers set many goals on each individual per semester, often some of them being impossible (eg. develop a patent), so the employee does not receive a high score and thus not deserving a raise.

Thank you for your comments. We do take all feedback seriously, whether positive or negative. Unify designs, develops and supports a broad range of solutions, many of which are based on the most leading edge technologies in the industry (software-bots, AI/ML/NLP, Google Cloud, IoT integration, WebRTC) and employing modern R&D methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Orchestration). Of course, our customers also rightfully expect to depend on our products for many years and we are committed to supporting and enhancing those products, which sometimes necessitates working with legacy software tools. Whatever generation of tools we use, we pursue innovation and value on behalf of our customers. We have been, and strive to continue to be first to market with new developments in the communication and collaboration industry. Luiz Domingos, Senior VP & CTO, Product House at Unify

Pros

Great team - very bright and talented people. Generous work from home policy Bonus payouts have returned.

Cons

Dominance of UK and DE priorities - NAM and RoW suffer/feel disengaged. Software product company part of a services parent that doesn't want 3 year R&D payback - they want it in 1 year. Marketing and product management don't seem to get along very well.

Pros

People are great and extremely talented, but leaving so quickly......now that market is open and lots of opportunities ....best development resources if you can figure out best way to leverage.

Cons

No market, no strategy. Leader in product development who stayed a short time, was toxic, and allowed to move development offshore company with affiliations, but he is now gone., and unfortunately much damage, hard to recover. Problem might just be too late to save this company....some of the best technologists in the industry, but need a go to market plan. Very difficult to compete with Microsoft, Cisco, and relevant startups. Though I have already left, watching with interest; hope can successfully execute a turnaround.
