Pros

Great people to work with Easy to find resources and information

Cons

No salary increase in the past 5 years Very unclear future given that the company is investing all its furutre in one product Some of the managers are non technical and not only they don't understand the many challenges that a developer can go through but also have no clue about the product at all we have people who as a result of their friendship with executives impact other employees carrers in a very negative way The management plays the blame game as soon as there is an issue as opose to fixing it there is no real appreciation of the employees, we are just numbers Management is only concerned about everyone's hours as opose to the results and the quality of the work.

Pros

Good team spirit - nice working environment

Cons

HR is not available for supporting employee to higher level. No reviews, no future planning. Yet, resources are the "very best asset" the company has. Marketing is getting better, powered by the rebranding, still work to be done here. Lot's of internal politics and insufficient leadership from above.

Pros

Great people with great skills. The products were in line with the latest technology. Some was ahead of it's time. We were all able to telework and working from home, were able to simulate being in the same office. My first line management folks were great and very supportive.

Cons

Upper management was only interested in the bottom line. I didn't get a raise for over 5 years. Managing a US market base from Munich never works for the US customers and employees. It is a global company but our marketshare in the US never regained its momentum after Siemens bought out ROLM. It was cut, cut, cut. Close offices, lay offs and lose customers. Existing customers believed we didn't have enough support staff to take care of them. Hard to sell to new customers with references like that.
