Pros

It is really good to work for such a well known company. There are many opportunities for growth and advancement. Thomson Reuters truly uses information to drive about change and improving the Healthcare industry. In addition, training is very helpful and colleagues are extremely willing to help others understand their work.

Cons

There's no onsite cafeteria at the Ann Arbor office but plenty of places to get drinks and food. Overtime is expected but that's the same in every exempt, salaried position. Deadlines could be tough but you do not need to stay in the office to do work. Due to the integration of many healthcare units, there is alot of bureaucracy that becomes apparent once people hit the director level and onwards.

Pros

Wide range of technologies and business opportunities, great environment to work in, great people, empowerment, challenging business climate

Cons

Bureaucracy and red tape amongst departments, micro-management, mid-level managers who lack management training, focus on cost-cutting techniques instead of growth from within, overlapping job functions, technologically challenged at times which can be disappointing, nepotism
