Cons

No advancement opportunities, the Subway Corporation doesn't really observe the operation of their chains. Ownership is pretty easy to come by, but inspections rarely occur even though plenty of things are truly wrong

Pros

You really get to know what it is to work with people. It is awesome if you are good at customer service.

Cons

There is not much room for growth...there are a lot of things to do at once, no benefits package

Opportunity to work flexible hours Generally good people employed there Easy job to learn and they provide ongoing training Employee discounts on meals Great job for kids in school

Cons

Lack of communication from upper management to lower management Virtually NO RECOGNITION of outstanding work done at the store level The pay is absolutely dismal for management at the store level
