Pros

Lots of coffee, lots of free food, good management and a healthy life style. What else can you ask for?

Cons

Very very long hours. Fussy customers, lots of politics at the management level. Pay is not great and just not enough time to grow.

Pros

Well developed strategic plans clearly directed from upper management. This is good in the sense that you have clear expectations and management will ensure you stay on track, or replace you.

Cons

Often times too many competing and conflicting priorities. Starbucks is efficiant and puts too much stress on managers to produce sales targets.

Pros

You get a pound of coffee free every week, as many beverages as you want on your shift. Free stock options after a full year of service

Cons

If store manager you are given a minimal amount of labor to staff and minimal amount of off the floor hours to manage the store, in most cases you must work over 40 hours to manage a store
