      Terrible management.... Political infighting..... Too many political camps

      Pros

      Never been a good bank in the last 10 years because shareholders too fragmented, senior mgmt kept changing, ousted by different camp every few years.

      Cons

      Highly paid ex Citibankers, Europeans and Indians replaced Singaporeans, old timers in the Bank, people who built the bank up in the past. The newcomers brought along people from their same background not by merits, but to shore up political connections. People who do work on the ground are not rewarded, while people who focused on managing their bosses get promoted. In the end, the good people left. Nobody is left to work. The bank is filled with highly paid sycophants.

      -good cultural values promoted -people do talk about the values and try to incorporate them into their day-to-day work

      -high level for stress, though for some can be a kind of motivation -unclear role and responsibilities -long hours
