This was my first sales job and happened to be my first job too. We were given no practical on the job training whatsoever. The front line sales force face a similar plight across India. You will be thrown out on the streets to fetch your targets. And even if one is putting in hard work and not achieving his /her target he or she will be shouted at and humiliated in front of other team members. Management does not believe in giving feed back in person or private but in front of a many people as possible. The is absolutely no amount of motivation that the sales force gets from the management. I left on a bad note dissatisfied and unhappy.
