Upper management is not in any way communicative with hourly staff, and the expectations are often unreal. I have been in charge of catering for the last two years and clients change their needs on a whim and it's just accepted. I can't plan my week at all! I've also seen an unbelievable amount of food waste, and then management says our food cost is too high? It makes no sense. Manager turnover is also extremely high, we are on our third catering manager in 2 years! People are not rained properly, hourly staff is highly undertrained, my job title is vague as my duties and responsibilities seem to change weekly with no explanation. My executive chef is the ONLY saving grace of this job, but he is still subject to the will of his bosses, and now our professional relationship is strained. He's now on vacation during one of our busiest weeks in MONTHS and I now have to work double duty as a result, but my GM says no overtime this week. I can only hope that this is not common throughout the company, but reading some of these other reviews it appears that this is how the company functions. Highly dissatisfied and I would not recommend working here at all, unless you like being mistreated on a regular basis.
