Pros

When they get it right, a sold service can be detailed enough for a successful delivery. They have great ideas, but don't know how to enable them.

Cons

I received an 'Exceeding Expectations' for my first annual performance review, and then I was fired in the same week. As part of internal servicing, I was 100% client engaged and was expected to collaborate on identifying and defining what Digital Transformation was for the BU/BL leaders. I was asked to support the BDMs with GTM content. A BDM, using Hubspot asked me to create content for a prospective client following their request for "Digital to the Core". I asked to discover as much as possible, only to get a response of "the prospect read a book called 'Digital to the Core' and said "that they want it, I don't have any more info, go and discover it". With this level of ambiguity, I did my due diligence and researched all aspects of a GTM pre-sales presentation content and presented my DRAFT back to the BDM... silence, I followed up for clarity; is this what you were looking for? Is my messaging inline with yours? Silence. To be followed by a last minute invite to meet the Partner in 30 min. To which I was told "the quality of my work was poor", to which I en-queried "don't I get feedback from a submitted draft?". Since then I have been ghosted. Even my engagement director has not acknowledged me. USA, don't do it.

Pros

Can not think of any.

Cons

Sia Partners expects employees to work uncompensated hours on top of the standard 40-hour week, with 50+ hours becoming the norm. There is no overtime, and these additional hours are required for performance reviews, which feels unfair and exploitative. Leadership is disconnected and focuses more on acquisitions than building a supportive culture or investing in staff. In one instance, the CEO even stated he'd do any job for free if it was interesting, which is comical and completely out of touch with employees who are working to pay their bills. Additionally, if you're between projects, you're left to find your next contract with little support from the company or management. This company takes advantage of younger consultants, offering limited growth and compensation. Not recommended for those seeking a balanced and supportive work environment.

Rubbish management in Singapore Office

Pros

The consultant and senior consultant is alright.

Cons

Singapore business partner is an egoistic bigot who does not open up to society norms. No proper career progression will be available as you will be dealing with the same client over and over and over again. The revenue brought in by the consultant are used to pay for useless senior managers who are sitting on the bench for pro long period of time. Promises made by senior management never comes to fruition as they will just try to buy time for a replacement and boot you off the team for reason like bad performance.
