Pros

Can negotiate good pay when hired or when you have an external offer Many clients opps are remote or hybrid

Cons

There are some really terrible managers - condescending, sexist, dismissive. Everything is top - down. There is no interest in employee feedback. HR and Leadership have no idea what really goes on, each Partners operates their business however they want. You have to find the good guys yourself, and align with someone who will protect you

Pros

People I had worked with over the years

Cons

The business has no direction. It seems like they are making things up as they go along. The Senior leadership and all the support functions have moved to Ireland and it feels like they only care about Dublin. The Operations, HR, recruitment was great at Sia previously and now we have no idea who they are and they are mostly unhelpful anyway. We need to see more of them. Recruitment is not diverse and doesn't represent the London demographics, understandably because the recruiters are all based in Dublin. There is hardly anyone in the office, the morale is all time low. No interesting projects and people are leaving.

Pros

Good conditions, benefits, and pay. Some opportunity for advancement (Although you have to go after this 100% yourself. The managerial culture is not one of support, leadership, or coaching) I have personally had some great projects to work on.

Cons

Very poor company culture. Currently, the company is very Paris-centric, and has tried to export ways of working that are both counterintuitive and counterproductive in North America. Leadership is very top down and guarded, so I am not optimistic that the new company acquisitions in North America will do well in the long run. Very much focuses on the bottom line rather than actual quality of work. There are some very talented exceptions to this, but they are few and far between.
