Pros

The free snacks in the office.

Cons

Perpetual acquisitions with zero integration: duplication everywhere, business unit turf wars, and operational chaos. Leadership is absent and opaque: poor communication, heavy politics, and a London office culture that’s outright toxic. No training, no support, no development: you’re on your own from day one. Attrition is sky-high: 25+ people left in under two years (total London office <75). A baked-in habit of overpromising and underdelivering; strong hires get stuck and stagnate. Pay is well below market, with no credible path to close the gap.

Pros

Friendly culture, lots of internal networking, lots of after hour events, internal emails look for collaboration among employees at all levels, a high level of encouragement to get involved.

Cons

The firm had no work for me and let me go after a few months of no staffing, which begs the question of why they wanted to poach me from my employer in the first place. Unlike other consulting firms, they had clients direct the staffing on projects, so each engagement was a job interview. Quite expectedly, I was passed over for projects in fields where I had zero experience, rather than assigned to projects to develop new skills. Their strategy for business development and staffing didn't make sense as compared to other firms in the industry where the pipeline and strategy was more clear.

Pros

Genuine consultants who are looking to learn and grow in various practices.

Cons

Senior leadership is a complete mess. They're more concerned with their own pockets than the well-being of employees. The decision-making process is chaotic and often feels arbitrary. Case in point: people are let go without any prior performance feedback, leaving them blindsided. There's no clear communication, no performance notices—just a sudden termination. On top of that, there’s been no adjustment for market wages or inflation. While the cost of living keeps rising, salaries have remained stagnant. Leadership doesn’t seem to care about employee retention, and it shows. To make matters worse, after firing people, they threaten them with an absurd non-compete clause, making it frightful to seek employment at other consulting firms. It feels like an intimidation tactic to prevent people from moving forward in their careers. Advise getting an employment lawyer depending on your state. The company culture is toxic, with a complete lack of transparency from leadership. Partners constantly get fired because this isn't a true consulting firm, but a staff aug masking as one where the CEO controls everything. They keep dangling promises of development and growth, but when it comes down to it, they're only looking out for themselves. Would not recommend unless you're desperate.
