Pros

You do get ‘product training’ / gratis and brand reps are sometimes nice & gives you not only training on the brand but also products to take home. Coworkers are sometimes sweet and caring.

Cons

- hours get cut out of nowhere because the DM says so - unreliable especially when you have bills or kids. - no benefits unless you’re partial part-time or full time and for full time you have to be part of management. - Rude and inconsistent management - changes in management. 3 years 3 different managers. - ASM & SM will be watching you like a hawk for any reason but lets other do whatever they want - favoritism is shown especially if youre easily manipulated and/or put your head down and listen to them but if you dont you dont get hours, treated poorly and retaliate. - if you get a second job and you let them know, they will still schedule you on days you cannot work even if you changed your availability. - Never get holidays off but upper management does. - rarely any chances to grow within the company

Pros

nothing to say here…. oops

Cons

- unreasonable managers (especially when they’re in a bad mood): i’ve seen several staff getting blamed for things that are not even their fault, the boss and the managers aren’t able to come to a consensus as to how they want to run their store and when the staff has a miscommunication due to this issue, they blame it on us instead of listening to our explanations - toxic work environment: especially true as a part timer; they do not care about the welfare of you at all and all they care about is their full-timers and their sales (please dont be mistaken, there is absolutely no incentive to hit sales as a PT but they make it seem as if we owe them our lives to fulfil it when it is never mentioned anywhere when hiring and in our contracts as well) especially at a certain branch situated in a tourist spot— the staff there are only so toxic because the boss enables and perpetuates the same type of toxicity :) please avoid working here unless toxic unreasonable (borderline insane) environments are your cup of tea!!!

Pros

Talk a good game, but its a junky old retail company desperately trying to look cool and tech savvy.

Cons

Recruitment process is the worst compared to any other company their size. Zero feedback after you've carved every ounce of time for their endless panel interviews. Most of the leaders have grown from within, the Technology organization is a joke. Most VPs would be slightly over entry level Developers at best at bay area companies. Panelists highly unprofessional by showing up late. One panelist kept going on his endless saga of internal politics about the CTO organization. My best advise avoid unless you are desperate.
