Pros

Hybrid setup (8 days per month WFH), flexible working hours, generous leave allocation, reimbursement benefits, friendly and approachable HR team

Cons

Expect a dictatorship style management. While the managers may come across as friendly at first, it's quickly apparent that they don’t genuinely care about your well-being. They only want to look good to higher ups. Providing feedback or questioning their decisions is often met with defensiveness or outright dismissal. In some cases, this results in retaliation through micromanagement or even denial of overtime pay. When you raise concerns, you're not truly heard, instead, you’re made to feel like the problem for speaking up in the first place. If you're hoping to transfer to another team or role, or even leave the company, expect empty promises. Management will say what you want to hear, but ultimately try to keep you chained to your current position. KPI expectations are another major issue. They’re often unrealistic, heavily skewed toward those with tech backgrounds, and take up an excessive amount of time that could otherwise be spent doing actual, meaningful work. Instead of supporting productivity, these metrics become a constant distraction and source of stress. Most of the managers seem more focused on damage control than actual leadership, largely because they’re constantly cleaning up after their own poor decisions. They question why employees are burnt out and unmotivated, when the answer is staring them in the mirror. Communication is another weak point. Expectations are often unclear, and project details are poorly conveyed, leading to confusion and frustration among the team.

Pros

if you're the type who thrives in high stress, high pressure. it's great. great opportunity for growth - you fail fast and grow quickly from it.

Cons

public lashings are a thing. seeing someone cry once a week is completely normal. the amount of processes that are done just because HQ requires it is ridiculous, even if it doesn't make sense, I've been in corporate long enough to understand red tape.

Pros

Alot of dedicated and smart people everywhere. Good comp and benefits. Good career opportunities (alot of interns/coops are hired for full-time).

Cons

1. For some roles, work/life is HORRIBLE. You will regularly have hours of meetings in the evenings/nights, multiple times each week. 2. Some managers are missing soft skills. It seems like their lives evolve entirely around their work, and they don't get that work is just work for others. 3. If you are Korean, expect separate social events just for Korean employees and don't drive for these occasions. You will be drinking alot, even in the middle of the week. Folks will openly mock you for bringing a car. 4. Your voice will not be heard in this company. It's a vertical organization and all major decisions flow down from HQ in Korea. You are just a cog in a huge machine. 5. There is a lot of bureaucracy and office politics. On the surface, it looks like everyone is collaborating and helpful, but once you understand the dynamics between teams/projects, that's not always the case.
