Poorly managed. Not stable. Not replacing people that have left and are requiring others to work long hours and weekends.

Complacency at its Finest

Safran thrives on complacency and is fine with the status quo. Take a look at earnings the last decade. It’s not due to increased sales or opportunities, but rather through acquisition of more complacent companies settling for 2% y/o/y growth. With the JV with GE on the engine side, I don’t know how this company stays in business. The HR team at Safran is beyond embarrassing and if you’re a Safran employee anywhere other than France, be prepared for France to run your life and your US “leadership” to cow tow to the French at every turn in an effort for self promotion.

We are sorry that you did not feel that your experience exceeded your expectations. Safran as whole, and Safran Electronics and Defense, Avionics, USA specifically has taken a number of actions to improve revenue and profitability through investment and Lean improvements. The year over year growth numbers in your review are not in line with recent go forward projections. Looking back, the Global pandemic has certainly impacted all aerospace businesses in the last few years. Safran is a French headquartered company. We value the diversity that this brings, however, each subsidiary operates independently to the same extent, if not more so, than most subsidiaries of US based corporations.

We are disappointed to hear, however, that you feel there is no work-life balance and lack of software tools/technology.
