Pros

4x10, Location, Company Expansion - Every 3-5 years there is an acquisition adding to the portfolio. People want to do a good job despite the obstacles placed in their way by Corporate.

Cons

Pay is abysmally below the average in Aerospace Industry despite what HR convinces themselves of. The acquisitions are a mess. Corporate Leadership places unrealistic expectations on the local team while providing no additional resources to accomplish within a ridiculous timeframe. The building is ancient and held together with band-aid. The Network Infrastructure is the worst I've ever experienced in my career. Internet goes down routinely. AOL dial up was better. Corporate France mandates initiatives that add additional burdens to the Managers and Supervisors who are actually trying to keep the business afloat. There are foreign DEI hires that despite displaying a lack of competence, remain in leadership roles (OE Ops Mgr). This location's ONLY saving grace is Lisa Garwood the Asst Gen Manager who SHOULD have been the GM. They brought in someone from the UK. WHY?!?!?

Cons

Feels like a school atmosphere. Strict work from office policies. Limited space for parking bikes or cars. Insufficient seating space in the office. Review meetings are frequent, resembling school tracking. Poor management.

Stuck in old ways

Pros

The company isn’t afraid to throw money at a problem. Bonus and stock options are good

Cons

Many productivity and measurement systems are antiquated and paint an unfair picture on operational metrics that managers are rated against. VPs and division leaders want to solve operation issues from their office in another country without visiting the site to see the issue at ground zero. Arcane policies are handed down from Corporate offices in France with little regard to how the affect operations abroad. Too many VPs, bosses and talking heads putting their 2cents into operations .
