      Pros

      Very friendly, supporting colleagues Allowed to explore things (and sometimes to try them live as well) You will not be sacked very easily If you want peace of mind without doing anything, it is the right place

      Cons

      No recognition of whatever you do Very poor pay scale. It is easy to get into the company with inflated pay scale. But once in, salary increment is just a peanut. Promotion? Don't ever think about it. Unless you are an annoyer you get nothing in return.

      Pros

      1.) Excellent work environment 2.) Some of the best HR practices I have seen in the industry. BTW, I am not the only one who swears by it. A bunch of my friends from ST who are working in other orgs. regularly praise the HR practices at ST. 3.) Prompt recognition for excellence

      Cons

      1.) I think it is more of an industry issue that there is absence of structured product management practices which was evident at ST also.

      Pros

      Direct managers take in consideration their employees, work/life balance is good, payed time off is more than adequate. 401k matching and pension plan.

      Cons

      Lacking formalization and internal information exchange, limited possibilities to grow, frequent reorganizations show confusion in the upper management. Following every single wish of the customer doesn't always lead to better products.
