Lots: - Human Resources are quite arrugant and they don't care about placing you in a position that exploits your capabilities and ambitions, with the risk that you will remain stuck in a job that makes you unhappy. It was quite embarassing to hear a HR introducing her company in my university, saying that if you're not a top graduate, you're not worth for ST. - Poor visibility of job openings. Most of the time ST hires through consultants that have been working for them as externals - Offices are awful: we were 100 people (university graduated!) working in the same room, with almost no windows and neon lights. Managers and marketing people mixed with designers (that require a silent place). - Old laptop and monitor - Noisy and crowded canteen. Low quality food. - No courses and other benefits for externals. - The lowest salary I have ever earned - Unpaid university master degree thesis. No support; just occasional reviews and dismissal after they have lost their interest, without thanking for the hard work

Management is really out-dated and out of touch of the present day market. STM continues to bleed of Money and good manpower which is leaving the company in droves. What remains is the dead wood. Working on older technologies and innovation in products is abysmal. Sweet talk and toeing the line of your manager is needed for you to survive. Salary hikes are a pittance and salary structure gets revised to paint a rosy picture of your package! Greater Noida Office is at a distant location which is quite far from the city. Hence commute gets really tough. You cannot live nearby since nearby localities have multiple issues.
