- slow technical growth. tools are old, technology is old, mindset is old. - lots of fixing issues by putting bandaid rather than fixing true root cause - a lot of finger pointing and blame pushing. zero responsibilty/accountability. very difficult to resolve issues. - very old school thinking mgmt and micromanagement. encountered very toxic device snr mgr who used threats. other mgrs and HR are aware but nothing is being done. - very slow career progression. - uses salary between different job grades to compare to output - way too much office politics. - pay is lower than market - no WFH option (subject to director/dept mgr whims)

Used to be better, with market downturn it’s the absolute WORST! Where to begin? Too many negatives. NO work life balance . Zero leadership and management with low emotional intelligence. Lots of people bossing each other around. Yelling, screaming and swearing is normal. Fire drill after fire drill, there is no time to do your actual job. People throw each other under the bus constantly, including management. No respect for boundaries, very little respect and trust for employees. ZERO empowerment. 100% micromanagement. Many are two faced and backstabbing, they are good at twisting words around on you. The divisions control the company and don’t care for customers or salespeople. HR is useless and the stuff they do is all for SHOW, social media & investors they don’t care to help employees whatsoever. Every process and procedure is cumbersome and complicated. Analysis paralysis. If you enjoy being miserable and beat up on at work, find a job at ST!
