Poor management and poor training

The gentleman who trained me (who worked from the West Coast) signed on at the same time I did working on EST and stayed after 5 p.m. my time just to address the day's deliveries. I saw that as the sign of things to come for me in the future. My supervisor would assign me work that he himself knew I was not properly trained for (his own "trainings" would start with the words "This is boring". Not exactly a way to communicate professionalism or enthusiasm about your role). He would admittedly assign me work that would send me "down the rabbit hole" because my training had been minimal. In addition, I was expected to work across two different virtual work environments which made everything unnecessarily confusing.
