No work/life balance anymore. Leadership changes KPIs every three months which makes it extremely hard for employees to meet it. And even the employees who exceed their metrics still don’t get a good rating on their performance review, because they don’t want to give us a good merit increase. More money for us equals less money for Gibson’s 7 million dollar bonus.
Offshoring so many departments to India has severely compromised quality and service. Clients are constantly upset, payroll errors are frequent, health and benefits are constantly understaffed so errors in that department is also common. Paychex clients leaving at record rates, causing sales to use questionable and unethical tactics to trick clients into joining more expensive bundles. Client threats to sue Paychex are common.
About a year ago they started recording all of our calls and our screens and using AI to rate the quality of our calls with clients, which compromises the confidential information that our clients share with us, and further micromanages employees.
We are not trusted but we are expected to trust Paychex. We are micromanaged, undervalued, overworked. Please avoid this $h!th0le at all costs.
