Not worth it

Pros

The training process was good. They made sure you had knowledge before sending you off to do things independently.

Cons

The expectations of a manager there are unrealistic. Nothing was ever good enough. In order to advance you had to fit in with their company culture. I am a positive person who loves to see the best in others and the world. I was told because I laugh a lot they could not take me seriously and it would prevent me from growing in the company. It absolutely destroyed my mental health. I’ve never been at a job less than two years before. I left after four months because my mental health could not take it.

Not a good environment

Pros

-mostly easy work -decent pay for food industry -a free meal on lunch

Cons

-There is so much nepotism throughout this company, at so many locations. People can get away with anything, just because they’re related to other workers, which breaks policy in the first place. So many stories I could tell. -work/life balance is very difficult, the shifts are very unbalanced. As far as work itself, it’s quite easy, though sometimes physically demanding. You’d often have only 3 people on a shift during busiest times, and the management would be off during these days. -lots of drama, coworkers being belligerent, refusing to do their work, pettiness. All around bad work environment

Toxic Work Environment

Pros

The only good that comes out of this job is the free food and the motivation to get out of there and become something in life because the work environment is beyond toxic. Thank you panda (management specifically) for showing me what NOT to be like as I continue to grow. The pay is OK for an entry level job/fast food gig but no amount of disrespect is worth it. There’s work out there where you’ll get treated with decency and respect you just have to look for it. I met a couple pretty cool people here too so shoutout to them as well.

Cons

Gossip gossip gossip seems to be all the management staff does, very immature in my opinion. To be honest it is very disappointing considering most of them are full grown adults and you would think they’d carry themselves a lot more professionally. Most are lazy as well and prefer running a dictatorship and prefer sitting their behinds in the back on the computer than actually leading the team and actually providing help when needed. They have no respect for their associates and plot against anybody who doesn’t bow to them. Beware of co workers who brown nose. Also don’t let nobody, not even upper management force you into doing anything you don’t want to do!
