Pros

Metlife allows you to own your own business, and your success is determined by the work you put in. Your income potential is limited, however, and you will be tied down to a place.

Cons

Working was often tedious, and some products are not beneficial to your customers. You will be forced to choose often between making a quick buck and doing whats best for your clients. A lot of representatives choose the easy cash.

Pros

Flexible work at home is available in some sites. Pay is decent.

Cons

You have to be physically located in one of the primary NorthEast coast offices to get the real opportunities for advancement. Technologically slow to adapt. Change is sssssslow, so Innovators beware!

Pros

My sales managers were great. They really helped me to learn the products and various sales techniques. Also, the payout was pretty decent

Cons

The upper management was constantly changing. Also, the underwriters are probably the strictest in the business. Also, you only get a 10% drip of whatever is in your pot of money per week.
