Pros

Great company to work for, great products as well. Support from other financial services representatives was outstanding. The company itself takes great care of their people

Cons

Underwriting was brutal. Unable to access corporate email anywhere but the office. "Big Brother" of compliance is constantly creating distractions for inane things in your email. Management was phenomenal until their bonuses off of your production were cut. After that, you couldn't get any kind of support and were pushed only towards the big money products as opposed to things that were in the best interests of your clients.

Pros

MetLife has the best products in the industry to sell, and reps have access to a lot of the best insurance products and annuities of other companies as well.

Cons

There is no minimum salary for Financial Advisor, so it is totally sink or swim. They provide some leads and some current clients to cross-sell, but you must sink out a large majority of clients on your own somehow.

Pros

The culture is great, very casual, and an easy going environment conducive for productivity.

Cons

THe work place and description is not meant for someone with high ambition. I saw very little opportunity for someone to grow and advance without putting years and years and years of work into the company.
