Pros

Many employers have been with company a long time. Nice people to work with. Good work and family balance. Many transition initiatives taken place to revitalize the business.

Cons

Too many changes taking place all at once. Seems to be a disregard to how the changes impact the employee. Many people are being let go, some with very little notice. Although global, very little chance to travel to regions to meet colleagues and business units being supported.

Pros

It's MetLife... Huge company, many resources.

Cons

Right hand doesn't talk to the left hand. Old technology, difficult to advance due to old timers who have been at the company for 25-30+ years.

Beware!

Pros

Benefits are decent but not spectacular

Cons

This company is THE definition of "big business" and "office politics". The individuals they place in charge are barely competent. If a member of management doesn't like you for whatever reason, they will make your life miserable. Gave a lot to that company and all I got out of it was a severance.
