      Where Dreams Come True... For a Temporary Sales Assistant

      Pros

      All staff are treated the same and all get along. When help is needed, it's provided. Training was brilliant and in depth. Not having to force products onto customers is always a bonus, you just have to go with the flow (customer training helped a lot for this). Opportunity to stay on after Christmas. Bonus', wage, discount and rewards are all brilliant too!

      Cons

      The manager seems to think she is some form of God with a personality that has more sides than a pair of dice. She attempted to show me how to clean down an area, which resulted in her basically missing everything. I don't mind spending that extra 5 minutes to clean down properly and do an honest job.

      Fun, discount on products, good pay

      Cons

      need to wash your hand all the time, loud and proud( I mean we have talk a lot already, and doing the loud and proud makes my throat being sore most of the time mangement in the office is sort of mess, OT hours with no pay or no given hrs back as the company have no time to give you back, but had said on the contract that they will give you back your OT hours

      Pros

      You can be yourself and exercise your own ethics in the way you work. No harsh targets and good opportunity to increase your awareness of what really goes on in the retail, consumer, or even political world.

      Cons

      Staff can feel pretty disposable. It's a great company to work for so if you're not happy to devote your soul to business success there will always be someone else to replace you. Still worth the experience for a few years though.
