Pros

Fast paced. Good for commission.

Cons

Management is condescending. Long hours and very little holidays. Not flexible. Only allowed to do one request per month and one switch. If you have no children this job is great, otherwise, it will drain you.

Pros

Pay was decent, and commission on top of that. Employee discount is amazing, but only for a small selection of items. This was a great job for someone in between chapters in their life. Would only recommend if you yourself are interested in luxury goods/lifestyle.

Cons

Management was awful. The trainings were all about empathy towards clients, yet there is none from managers/leads. Depending on where your store is located, there can be a lot of competition between coworkers. City locations are easier as most advisors already have their own client regulars that only shop with them. Forget about having a social life, schedules are usually given at 2 weeks notice if you're lucky. It may be the biggest luxury retail company in the world, but advisors can still be sent home early if business is slow. This again depends on what kind of management you have. Do not expect to be making a 6 fig salary unless you're a store manager for busy store, or working in corporate. Getting into corporate is incredibly difficult. In fact getting this job was difficult as almost all promotions and positions are filled internally. Pretty much everyone needs to know someone to get the job.

Pros

The company provides you with uniforms, dry cleaning, monthly parking partial compensation, and paid travel for training. You can definitely see the world if you want to pursue a career.

Cons

It's retail. No matter how upscale the product is, the environment is the same as in any other luxury goods store. You will spend very little time with your family through the holiday season, or any major event going on in your city, so be prepared to miss a lot.
