Pros

I was lucky to have great colleagues. Health Benefits are good.

Cons

Unbelievable stress, never ending demands, very rude and impatient clients. Clients will text you and call you during vacation, sick days. Management will also harras you on your days off for all kinds of issues. Training is quite limited. It’s a great school to learn for a short period of time, but if you stay more than two years, be ready to have health issues due to stress. Good thing they have good health insurance, you’ll need it. In addition, You will sell all day without being reflected in your paycheck, commission is practically nonexistent, They hire managers externally, never saw anyone being promoted. Upper management is rude and treat employees like the help.

Pros

Your uniforms and the dry cleaning are taken care of by the company. You get a 30 percent discount on handbags, leather goods, and special employee purchases on specific items chosen by the company.

Cons

Every high end retailer is going to commission. Louis Vuitton wants nothing to do with that. The bonuses are so far out of reach that they are nearly impossible to meet and there not that great.

Pros

Having the Louis Vuitton name on your resume.

Cons

Worst commission structure in all of luxury (Recently cut back even more) 30% off in store products up to a spend of $3,000 annually, essentially %30 off one item. No other discounts within the LVMH family of companies. Access to an employee only website site where you can gamble on buying damaged products. Ever changing sales goals that are set to make sure your Store Director gets their annual bonus. No annual or monthly incentives to beat last year's sales as most other luxury brands have. No bonuses for reaching milestones in sales, one million, two, or three, you'll get a cupcake. 30 day return/exchange policy that takes away from your monthly sales goals and commission. Monthly commission checks only after all returns have been made from the month prior. Incompetent management contributes nothing you couldn't do to your daily tasks. You'll make $60,000 a year doing about 3 Million dollars in sales as a full time employee. Not a place I'd recommend working at unless you have a second source of income.
