A lot of locations and positions available. Layoffs are rare. Week during Christmas off.
Cons
Health benefits are expensive with high deductible. PTO hours are lower than other companies. You only get a few Holidays off a year.

Company offers many small things that makes you feel appreciated like free plants on Earth Day, employee recognition rewards, sponsored holiday dinners, etc. Company also has great benefits and have personally seen many people retire after 20, 25, 35 years. The 4/10 work days are nice to have long weekends all year long.
Cons
Contract awards can affect business so sometimes there are layoffs as the work dictates. Typically its contractors that are let go first before they review any full time employees. The 4/10 work days take some getting used to.

Pros
They care about work life balance and try to maintain it. Only place in sillicon valley that does. Job is the definition of stable. Easy to move laterally to gain experience or try something new. Great job to learn skills.
Cons
It is difficult to advance bc of ridgid HR rules. Not typical sillicon valley pay for the positions you work or the schedule they want. Terrible health insurance packages. They announced a successful season of layoffs and bonuses for c-suite in the same meeting :(
