Pros
Defense contractors are not as effected by the global downturn of the economy, great job security.
Cons
It is a very large company so don't expect everybody to know your name. There are a lot of things that small companies won't do, such as all of the HR type training dealing with harassment. People are generally busy all the time. I have felt closer to my peers at other companies by going to lunch/eating lunch as a group, going to co-workers houses for parties etc.
