Pros

Great benefits, good time off options

Cons

Management puts such an emphasis on metrics that you feel like just a number here. All rewards feel like bribes to get better numbers -- they don't really care about good customer service, just about getting the customer off the phone within 6 minutes. It's a disheartening and often depressing place to work.

Pros

Amazing co-workers and the flexible work schedule.

Cons

Liberty Mutual has zero integrity. They laid off an entire department with less than a months notice right before the holidays and bonuses. Our health plan expired at midnight on our termination date, and management refused to provide any letters of recommendations. They refused to answer any questions and many of the staff members are still displaced. The truth was our jobs were outsourced and it is only a matter of time before the paralegal’s jobs are next.

Unstable business environment

Pros

Great benefits, plenty of FTO and work schedule flexibility

Cons

Difficult to find career paths outside the norm without significant help from others Upper management has decided that "Agile" means "if it doesn't work immediately then throw the whole thing away" causing an unstable business environment due to CONSTANT reorganization
