I get paid pretty well for what I do! I do research with a senior scientist at lbl while at community college. I love the gig, it gets me access to the berkeley lab busses, and bear transit for a transit option as well as UC Berkeley Libraries!

Cons

Probably just not enough for the area. I think I saw that 10 years ago on some reddit thread that student assistants were being paid similar haha.
