The people are very nice. The facilities are up to date, and all of my colleagues are very knowledgeable in their chosen fields.

Cons

California is a very shallow place. Science funding in the United States is on the decline. This affects all government entities.

Great place to work! Frequent talks by research staff and visiting lecturers. Fascinating work to contribute to in a meaningful way.

Cons

The parking constraints make transportation to and from the site somewhat burdensome.
