      Pros

      Good management, open door policy Great career builder Fellow coworkers make working long hours tolerable Five weeks of vacation in exchange for your hard work

      Cons

      Unpredictability of your schedule. During busy season, you can't even make plans for dinner (unless you plan on eating at the office) let alone plans for the weekend. Although, this is probably true with all the big firms.

      Pros

      fast career advancement if you're doing a good job, international travel (depending on the engagement you're on), co workpers are respectful towards each other, professional atmosphere, learn a lot, you get taken out a good amount of time if you're in a right team

      Cons

      10 hour mandatory days for 5-6 months a year, which often turn into 12-13 hours a day; teams are understaffed, your job security depends on utilization (which means the more you use your deserved vacation time, the more chance you have of being layed off). Work-life balance is tough to achieve in reality although it's being promoted heavily by the recruiters. Impossible to transition between Adisory divisions.
