Pros

Great car design Benefits are like golden handcuffs (you won't want to leave due to pay etc)

Cons

Management is from the 1970s where alpha aggressive is what's needed to progress Lying and backstabbing is expected to promote yourself at the expense of others Bureaucracy has killed any hope of innovation Silo working is not only the norm, its tacitly encouraged Build quality is terrible and they know it You must be able to blame everyone around you. Taking accountability is a one way ticket to redundancy You can never do enough and pressure is always increased. Working long hours is expected and pastoral support is dependent on whether you are lucky and get a good manager or a technical specialist who's been promoted above their leadership ability

Pros

Great people. Opportunity to take initiative and own work. Good place to learn as you can become very involved in the growth of the site and can drive things if you step up.

Cons

Lack of direction from upper management. Politics between teams/sites holds back projects. Busy work can make an appearance at times. People end up doing roles they shouldn't be doing which just pulls them away from what they were hired to do. Grad program is poor and internal career development/promotions are not very transparent.
