Pros

Despite of what a lot of people are saying, the culture still amazing, at least in Ireland. we can see how much work/life balance is valued here and how the culture team always tries to bring something fun and exciting to the place. also, the people working here still the best thing about HubSpot

Cons

It has been tough with too many customer issues. new updates being released too soon before they are ready, leading to burn out specially for teams that are customer facing.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. It’s great to hear that you still feel the culture, work/life balance, and the people you work with are strong — that’s something we’re proud of, and it’s great to see it reflected in your experience in Ireland. We also acknowledge your concerns around the pace of product releases. We know that when updates move too quickly, it can put added pressure on our customer-facing teams, and that’s something we continue to work on. Thank you for all that you do to support our customers and culture — your feedback helps us get better.

Pros

-Decent salary for support -Decent Benefits

Cons

-Customers are becoming increasingly aggressive and leadership does little to back you up or support you -Benefits have been scaling back. Do not let them lie to you about "not removing benefits." They have changed from Unlimited PTO to Flexible PTO, they stopped giving Stock RSUs to customer-facing teams (like support), they got rid of the free books program, and they got rid of the sabbatical bonus. Internal mobility in HubSpot is a joke. It happens, but there is high performers that are stuck. I know people who are still in the support team and leadership should be hanging their heads in shame that some of these people are still in support roles instead of actually experiencing growth in their careers.

Pros

great culture, good people, unlimited PTO, uncapped commission, long ramp period

Cons

the quotas are very unattainable after you ramp. only like 25 out of 140ish ramped reps hit quota each month. half of my team is on a PIP with no plan to actually help you improve. also impossible to get promoted up market. constantly fearing getting put on a PIP
