Pros

Very simple, mundane work. Hard to screw up. Free food with every shift.

Cons

Whoever works the register also has to keep the place clean at the same time, which is borderline impossible during busy days. If a secret shopper comes in during that time, you're getting a bad score for reasons that aren't your fault.

Pros

So easy to form friendships with customers and gives you pride in your store

Cons

A lot of shady managers. From shift leaders to district management. They're all scared of replacement and have "tactics" to set Employees up and they'll blame and fire without any remorse.
