Pros

Good food, could be a good job depending on management. But fast food is gonna suck no matter what.

Cons

Didn’t receive any training and was only brought in my first day because it was really busy and I was on register ALONE. After receiving NO TRAINING. For my first job, which they knew. And then they had the audacity to blame me for not knowing what to do every second.

We apologize that your experience is not what we would expect at any of our locations. Training is very important to the Five Guys culture, and we'll continue to work to hire management staff that shares this vision.

Pros

Scheduled me as much as I wanted Free meals every shift $11/hr + tips

Cons

GOD AWFUL management! Morning crew (including managers) were very clique Expect the closing shift to run until 12-12:30 Unless you beg to be switched, whatever position you start at is where you are for good Don't bother becoming a part of management because it's definitely not worth the extra $2/hr

Pros

Flexible hours, tries to work with your schedule, opportunity to grow, good experience.

Cons

•Scheduling process is outdated and extremely inconvenient, where other companies use apps we use a piece of paper on the wall that may or may not change without any notice • Often understaffed • Employees are often asked to close (4/5pm to 11:30/1am) depending on the business of the day and size of your store, and open (7am/12 pm to 4/5pm)the next day (clopen) • Depending on openers, closers are often left with unprepared food leaving for inconvenient situations. • Having free peanuts means a TON of peanut shells left on tables and floors to be cleaned • Having regular burgers be doubles and little burgers be singles with no signs saying so causes a lot more confusion for customers then you'd expect • No full time other than gm's and above • Lack of benefits
