Pros

Good knowledgeable team to work with and a great faciality. Management is pretty sound. They are flexible when it comes to vacation time, start times and overtime. There is always something to do or help out with, which means you'll always have opportunities to learn. The pay is above average.

Cons

More opportunities for cross-training. There where occasions when testing would be delayed, or assigned to someone who was not completely familiar with the test rig.

Pros

*Depending on site you work at, there is the opportunity for employee discounts on certain car brands. *Company is based in France so you get a lot of interaction with individuals from differing cultures.

Cons

* Upper management is very inconsistent and tells subordinates to do/add tasks to their job without listening to concerns or new ideas. *SAP support staff for our division was incredibly condescending and unprofessional and not disciplined by management thus creating a hostile work environment. *Incredibly high turnover- I started in May and there were 6 people with seniority over me in my position. By the following October me and a coworker had the highest seniority in our position. *No overtime and a lot of phone calls late at night. Had to work about 2 weekends a month. Coupling this with the fact pay is subpar for my position leaves employees feeling taken advantage of. * Communication was horrific. I was supposed to hear where my work location would be 2 months before my start date and contacted corporate HR via phone call and emails multiple times a week to get a answer and got told I'd hear back tomorrow. Management would implement new practices in secret and then one day give you another daily task without the input of others. In addition decisions such as scheduling a full physical inventory were given with roughly a weeks notice to employees, causing many to cancel some vacation days scheduled during the holiday season. Advice to someone reading this: I had the same thought when I was on Glassdoor.com in the spring thinking "Oh theres no way it can be that bad. Even if it is I can stick it out until I find another job." I would highly recommend considering different career options.
