Pros

Good Benefit Package. Stable job environment. International travel.

Cons

Very poor work-life balance. High pressure from French headquarters. Highly political. High bureaucracy. Unrealistic goals and unable to achieve bonus. No employee appreciation. Male dominated workplace, glass ceiling for female employees. "Boys club" culture - to find in middle management - director level. Hard work leads to more work while "boy club" employees get promoted easily.

Pros

-Fair starting wage -Earplugs not required -Small advancements possible if lucky -Entire shop is unionized and seniority builds quickly with the very high turnover rate

Cons

-Scheduled 7 days a week and the decision for days off is made by someone who is off regardless -No clear advancement path for majority of factory -No climate control, often very humid and very hot -Factory planners change procedures often with little thought to impact on day to day work -Work ethic and quality of work does not guarantee you will remain on the same shift or in the same area -There are VERY few full-time employees most of the factory is made up of temporary employees due to the poor management and uncertainty of your work schedule. -Experienced employees will often get moved to unfamiliar areas causing some areas to be constantly short staffed
