Pros

This used to be a great place to work but management changes have resulted in a culture of reactivity and blaming

Cons

horrible culture. It didn’t used to be this way at CMX (formerly CTC) but the Faureica culture has totally taken over and as a result the companies performance has suffered and employee morale is horrible as well

Pros

No longer working in Auburn Hills at Faurecia.

Cons

Just bad upper management. New guys bring in friends and it becomes a club of thugs. If you are not Mexican or something else, you have no chance.

You should probably pass...you'll be gone in 6-9 months anyway.

Pros

The policies issued from the corporate office have promise and make it appear that the Company wants to maintain a healthy balance of communication, development, and opportunity while expecting high level results. Since this facility is in competition for labor with another global power house in a relatively modest labor pool for the area, wages tend to be on the higher end of what one might expect.

Cons

While the policies laid out by the corporate office may be promising, they are not followed at the plant level. Pay levels are based off of 80 hours per 2 weeks, the minimum expected is 90 hours with many people having the expectation to work 100-120 hours or more. Generally, the plant works 12 hours per day, 7 days per week. This is contrary to what is being stated at interviews (see other reviews for details) and is far from the only example of the company being deceptive. The plant management staff have no respect for the production support groups. Americans in general aren't treated with regard and are being weeded out throughout the management hierarchy in favor of Europeans. The European management style tends to rub a lot of Americans the wrong way. Due to the very high turnover rate, any prospective employee should keep in mind that the expectations of the work to which he was hired to do may change at any time and may involve things that are either not within his skill set, tasks far above his pay grade, or both. Constructive feedback on job performance will not be provided, even if asked for. The same rings true for guidance and support. Despite the high turnover, opportunities for advancement are few and far between. Communication is abysmal.
