Pros

- Managed to retain its strong reputation and client base - still known as ex Booz & Co even though it has rebranded to Strategy& (still considered tier 1 in ME region alongside MBB) - Excellent pay and benefits especially in Middle East - Potential fast track to Partner (some made it in 11 years from fresh graduate) - Good and highly talented people - Good stepping stone to other places - High quality work and really learn how to deal with C-Suite audiences - Seniors don’t bug you on weekends

Cons

- Firm does not keep its promises (e.g. they say promotion within x months but really take longer depending on their cycles, staffing decisions are almost never in your favor) - Experience is very limited to a few big clients in Middle East which inhibits development and growth - Culture of overwork - unreasonable amounts can be dumped on you without much consideration or realism - Performance management system is flawed - more about ticking boxes than really seeing and assessing who has the right stuff. Too much focus on the 1% faults vs the 99% actual performance which gives misleading results and development plans

Pros

You can get a good amount of beach time. If you have a lot going on in your life, that may be a good thing. If you are young and need to learn, don't let that happen. Being busy and grinding (within reason) is more worth it than things being too chill. Some projects that had travel had good culture.

Cons

Layoffs all the time for wrong reasons, way too remote with no ability to get young and hungry people the experience in person they need. Always stressing about utilization.
