      Pros

      This review is to help prospective employees find the company on Glassdoor. Safran Passenger Innovations was formerly known as Zodiac Inflight Innovations and is based in Brea. It is now owned by Safran Group. The majority of people that worked here were awesome, and I'm glad to have met all of them.

      Cons

      The company is in a tough spot right now, about 20% have been laid off, and some people are still on furlough since March 2020. I sincerely hope the company pulls through and does the right thing for employees that have decided to stick with the company.

      Pros

      Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

      Cons

      High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
