Oh where do I even begin?!
I applied and was hired, but they did not match my desired salary. Instead, they promised I would get a salary increase that will match my desired salary when I get an additional franchise/client. After 2 months on the job, I was given an additional client. I asked if the salary increase will be applied. They said no because that's now how it works in Emapta. So I sent them the screenshot of the message from their recruiter promising me that. They said they will investigate how this happened. I NEVER HEARD BACK REGARDING THIS.
My onboarding experience was so crappy too. I went to the office for my first office day (I'm in a hybrid setup) and NO ONE in the office knows where my work station is, what account I'm from, what to do, etc. I waited for 2 hours before I can start working (which made me late!!!) because they needed to coordinate internally. Incompetence? Idk.
They also wanted to install an employee monitoring tool on my laptop because the "client wanted to make sure that the tasks are manageable". Honestly, there are better ways to do this. This is surveillance dressed up as a concern. I have expressed that I am against this initiative and that I will be sending my formal resignation soon. Emapta doesn't seem to care.
They also do not provide any support to their outsourced staff even during the transportation crisis and oil price hikes. No alternatives were given, not even gas allowance nor shuttle services. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE.
If you're planning to apply to Emapta, think twice. Sure they have good qualities and packages. But once you're inside, you're no longer a person. You're simply a commodity they are selling and they will not hesitate to make you feel like it.
