Cons
HR/customer service prioritise maintaining abusive customers than their own long term staff members. I was physically assaulted by a customer as he tried to get in the store 5 mins after it had closed and I refused him entry and he bashed into the door that I was holding closed and grabbed the lanyard around my neck, all caught on CCTV, manager asked for him to be barred from the shop but the customer service rep and regional manager said no and to let him come back in to exchange an item on a day where it was just myself in the store so I had to serve him. Had a customer write a completely fabricated review about me (because she was angry that we didn’t have her size in stock) and the upper management and HR offered me zero support, instead apologised to the customer, told me to call the customer and apologise and gave her 15% off every visit to the store and a personal apology call from the store manager (apologising for events from her review that didn’t even happen) Despite me working there for 3 years and having a clean record in terms of complaints. This was my final straw so I quit the company a few months later.
