Pros

- I work with a great bunch of guys and we have a good time - If you enjoy working with computers it's great to be a techguy - I have learn a lot by working there - Management tend to leave the tech guys alone so i can get on with my work. - flexablity with working

Cons

- our store was a new store and we had to aquire all the software ourselves such as xp discs etc, in the end we had to get copies of a lot of stuff from other stores - no equipment whatsoever, we has to bring in our own screwdriver sets - no parts or way to aquire them - spending 30 minutes on hold to book a pc for uplift - having to act as a cashier all the time when i'm supposed to be fixing computers - being badly paid for the amount of knowledge you have to have to do the job, i could earn more shelf stacking. - little useful training in fixing computers given

Pros

Good Bonuses around Christmas time Good social events and team building days Good atmosphere between everyday staff and peers Skies the limit if you can sell

Cons

The company survives only because of its warrenty product and pressure to sell this is very high Management lack the ability to motivate their staff Talent / Innovation isn't appreciated nor encouraged Poor relationships between management and staff especially during tougher trading times of the year Company suffers from poor customer relations and can be almost an embarrassment to work for sometimes Good management are keen to leave or get headhunted to other firms (2 of my former managers got head hunted) Training just doesn't happen, ever.
