Pros

- Great office locations and flexibility to WFH and in office - Some roles are fully remote - Competitive salaries and benefits depending on the role - Many talented people that care about their role and contribution - access to training/education to level up your skills -Overall healthy, positive working environment depending on your team/manager/role - Virtual onboarding is easy

Cons

- Environment has turned more corporate in the past few years - Some managers are out of touch and do not know how to use a computer or give appropriate feedback...we are a tech company -Severance offered to laid-off employees is minimal -Some roles are dead ends with no path to growth - Some hires are underperforming and still in their roles- so it seems there are inconsistent grading systems for functions depending on what team you are on - Many random roles that do not fill a purpose when other crucial roles are needed and are not being created - lack of communication and trust across some global teams - lack of diversity in upper management - A lot of bureaucracy to sift through when working on high-level projects - priority is given to French employees - Some managers operate on a relationship-based performance review model, meaning they will be out to get you if you have upset them or refused to be compliant. They will want to trade favors, and if you do not play by their game, they will push you to the sidelines or deny promotions

Thank you for your feedback which is important to us. We agree that Contentsquare is a multicultural team and we are proud to have offices in a lot of countries as well as diversity in all our offices. Unfortunately, you had a bad experience with no-shows to scheduled calls and we have given the feedback to the team so that we can avoid this from happening again in the future.

Pros

Solid Product Good pay Nice perks/benefits Great office filled with snacks Reasonable quota Fun culture

Cons

There is zero growth for SDR's to get promoted into an AE role. The amount of SDR's that have been there for 2+ years with no hopes of getting promoted to AE is concerning. Only 3 SDR's have ever been promoted to AE since they moved to the US in 2017. If you don't believe me just go check the AE's on LinkedIn and see how many of them started as SDR's internally. They had 4 SDR's all leave within the last 2 months because of this. Most will wind up leaving to go to different company with actual training and a defined path to promotion. Good company if you join as an AE, but if you're joining as an SDR in the hopes of getting promoted to an AE you'll be surely disappointed. Do yourself the favor and go join a company that will actually invest in training and developing their SDR's to be AE's and will give you a legitimate path to promotion. On top of the lack of internal growth opportunities, the current SDR managers don't even know the product! Good luck trying to get enablement from them because they are all outside hires who have put in little to no effort to actually learn the product themselves. Also, the head of sales development for the company sits overseas and is completely out of touch with the U.S. sales team.

We appreciate the feedback and we agree with the sentiment that SDR career growth is a priority. In the past we have had 3 SDR's transition to an AE role, 2 to a Customer Success role, 1 to a Sales Ops role, several promotions to a Team Lead or Senior SDR role. Although there has been definite internal mobility we know we can continue to improve, so we are making this a top priority moving forward. Tom Meijer - VP Global Sales Development
