Avoid at any cost. Inhuman decisions with incompetent management.

Pros

The complexity of the product/niche might be rewarding for some.

Cons

Leadership strategy changing every few months, reorgs/layoffs taking place before thinking about what has to be done, and wishful thinking cripples execution, leading to a shrinking business. Management talks endlessly about alignment and management without realistic collaboration, even at the top level. They randomly fire people (even during parental leave).

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We recognize that coming from someone who has been with the company for more than five years, your perspective reflects a long view of how CSQ has evolved. We hear the concerns you raised around leadership stability, frequent changes, and the impact of reorganizations on trust and execution. These are serious points, and we understand how repeated shifts can feel disruptive and discouraging. We want to be clear and share with you that decisions affecting people are never taken lightly, and we take concerns about fairness, communication, and leadership accountability seriously. Pros

Contentsquare boasts a global presence, but there seems to be a focus on their European offices, particularly France and the UK. This can lead to a feeling of being out-of-the-loop, for employees in other locations.

Cons

While the company might seem glamorous from the outside, the reality is far from ideal. Disorganized Chaos: Decision-making lacked any clear structure. Projects constantly shifted direction, and communication was siloed, making it nearly impossible to get anything done efficiently. Short-Sighted Leadership: Planning seemed like an afterthought. Management focused on quick wins rather than long-term strategy, hindering any sense of stability or growth. Arrogant and Biased Decisions: Meritocracy seemed like a myth. Favoritism and internal politics often trumped genuine talent and qualifications. Misaligned Priorities and Lack of Transparency: A concerning lack of transparency from leadership led to a pervasive sense of being misled. Decisions regarding company travel, with questionable locations and accommodations, further fueled the perception of misaligned priorities.

Pros

401k matching, decent health insurance plans, unlimited pto, some nice managers

Cons

It's hard to bring any good outcomes for the customers when the manager you work under is a maniac. She makes it hard to skim mobile ;). Also makes it an incredible challenge to sanely work because she can be very rude and bullies peope. I've neer seen a 40 something year old act in such a way. I have no idea how she's managed to behave this way so long and is almost invincible.
